As an avid runner, Kelly has always understood the benefits and importance of stretching but it wasn't until living in rural New Zealand that she discovered yoga.
After attending a local class, she was hooked and slowly began to feel both the physical and mental benefits yoga has to offer. Kelly continued her practice, until ten years later when she decided to train as a yoga teacher in Australia teaching in studios throughout Melbourne.
Now Kelly, a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, is also a Certified Pilates Instructor - deepening her knowledge of anatomy and movement. Over time, her practice has evolved and strengthened, finding her own style, providing a soft, gentle and nurturing environment as well as a strong and alignment based practice.
I first started yoga when a stiff lower back stopped me training for Ironman Wales. The specialist recommended some strength and flexibility and said yoga was best, the rest is history. I’ve always done some kind of exercise since I was about 8yrs old, I was a professional footballer till I was 21 and then occupied my time with cycling, running, fell running/racing and Triathlon. I’ve been practicing 3.5 years now and fall more in love with yoga every day, it was the physical practice that got me into yoga, the result of back pain disappearing within 3 months was addictive, I practice now for the physical benefits but mainly for everything else that comes with a regular yoga practice. Cliche alert but enjoy the journey. Peace, Plants & Yoga
Ligita has been a dedicated Yoga practitioner for over 7 years. After experiencing the wonderful effects of Yoga on her own life and realising that her passion for Yoga is turning into a life-long path of self-discovery, she decided to share her experience and become a Yoga teacher embarking on 200-hr teacher training diploma with Vicki Shields and Donna Southwell. In 2019, Ligita has completed Mandala Yoga teacher training with the creator of Mandala vinyasa method, Dulce Aguilar and The Yoga People and continues to study with them, grateful also for the ongoing teachings and support of Andrea Everingham.
Ligita approaches asana practice as moving meditation. She teaches based on her own practice and experience and draws inspiration from Ashtanga, Mandala Vinyasa and Hatha yoga methodologies. Along with the physical practice Ligita focuses on breath control and movement as ways to quiet the mind and elevate the spirit.
Ligita welcomes all students to her class and asks them to come without expectations but with an open mind and heart.

I have been practicing yoga for over 25 years, alongside a variety of different activities, such as running, spasmodic trips to the gym and different fitness fads. I initially practiced Yoga, as a way to eliminate some of the day to day stresses of working full time, as a financial adviser, whilst recovering from both a physical and mental illness. The health benefits Yoga provided, were invaluable to me, and I began to view the ancient practise as “A Magical Gift.”
I took a teacher training course with the YMCA, and attained a “level 3 diploma in teaching Yoga” qualification.
I began to teach in various gyms and studios - both Hot and non-Hot. I then opened my own Hot Yoga studio. Finding running the business was taking the magic of yoga from me, I recently sold my studio ( preferring to concentrate fully on teaching and self study). I am thrilled to be able to share the gift of yoga with as many people as I can. I truly believe that yoga is for everyone and everyone will benefit from some form of yoga.
My flow classes are drawn from varying styles of yoga and my students wants and needs. I teach Hatha, Vinyassa flow, Bikram style set class and a rocket style stronger flow class. My approach is fun, quite gentle, but no means easy, allowing all fitness levels and ages to access the many benefits of yoga. My goal is that everyone will enjoy my classes and have fun, whilst still maintaining breathing techniques and alignment and reaping all the magical benefits of Yoga.
